We are a group of people from Long Beach who enjoy playing and learning chess. All people are welcome. Skill range at our meetups is from 300 ish to well over 2000. We our a very diverse group of players. Our youngest player is 4, our oldest player is in his 80's. We welcome people from all walks of life to sit down and play this beautiful game the same way millions of humans have done for thousands of years.
Weekly Meetups
Tuesday 7pm Trademark Brewery, Long Beach
Sunday 4pm, 2nd and PCH, Near Beachwood, Long Beach
If you have a board and clock to bring to the weekly meetups that is helpful, if not about half the people tend to bring one, so it works out in the end.
