Foxcliff Chess Club

July 2022 was the start of our inaugural year, and the Club is maturing in many positive ways.  People have enjoyed the unique atmosphere of playing chess at the spacious and historic 1920s style Mansion of the Barbasol Shaving Cream founder which has a beautiful view looking over Foxcliff Lake.   Inside, the architecture is something to behold or play outside with a stunning view of the estate.  In addition, we provide the No. 2 Best Tasting Water in the United States and snacks.  In the winter, we provide boards near a fireplace to enhance the experience.  If you’ve not seen the mansion, ask one of the Club’s officers for a tour, which will include seeing a knight and the viewing of a vicious murder site, motivated by jealously.  Free parking is immediately in front of the Mansion.
