School chess captain and then nothing 'til chess.com, 30 years later. Little bit re-addicted to chess now. Can be a beautiful game, though not so often if I am the one moving the pieces. I know it's academic, but I bust a gut to reach a 2000 rating...then relaxed and have found my truly recreational level. Fast mover, but slow thinker, which costs me many rating points!
