I learned chess from my father when I was a wee lad. I fell away from the game in high school, and have only recently begun playing seriously again. Except now it is like an obsession. So much to learn... I'm no prodigy, nowhere near it, but there are times when I make a move that feels right, and is, but i can't explain why. I want to understand that 'why' from more than just an intuitive point of view. My motivation, in a nutshell. I enjoy the Sicilian defense and am prone to play a Reti with transpositions into a KIA or English. And... LONG LIVE ANAND!
