I learned chess early and played chess competitively through high school, but then took a lengthy hiatus in early adulthood.  A while ago a friend invited me to play on chess.com and I've enjoyed getting back into the game since then.  I enjoy the tournaments and I've met some very friendly folks here.  I enjoy playing offbeat openings and prefer lines that don't require lots of theory (no time for all that!).
