My favorite tip for chess which I got from Gotham chess (best chess channel of all time.) Is when an opponent makes a move before you do anything look at what the opponent is trying to do first then you can go and look at what your going to do (Checks, Captures, and Threats) I hope this made you a little bit better at chess.
