About my chess:- (NOTHING MUCH)

• Learnt at age of 8-9 (not sure)
• I won my first ever "competitive game" with black pieces in 2014.
• I drew my first ever "clash against a rated opponent" Swayham P Das (1412) with black in May,2017.
• I lost my first ever "rated game" with white pieces against Rajveer Pinkesh Nahar (1356) Oct,2018.
• I won 3rd best unrated Prize (INR 3500) in my first FIDE rated tmt :- 1st GUJ OPEN: CAT-C, with a score of 6/10
• Then I got stuck into studies and hence, had to take a break
• Got into too much chess during lockdown, learnt a bunch.
• Played a lot of state level tournaments in 2021-22, with some amazing preparations in opening, stunning a lot of strong players. Built a reputation of a creative-sacrificial player.
• First out of state tournament in Banglore (April 2022), a series of rapid-classical-blitz events which ended up as one of my worst tournaments.
• First national tournament as National Amateur 2022 (May 2022) in Jaipur.
• Coached my first ever students: Ruhani Asudani & Maharth Godhani (June 2022 - Sep 2022), which went successful with decent improvement in their results.
• Entered Canadian Chess Scene Oct 2022, via KW Chess Club.
• First ever public lecture. LINK (Feb 2023)
• Started running Youth chess programs across City of Kitchener (June 2023)
• KW Chess Club President (Oct 2023 - Present)
• Initiated a chess team at Conestoga College (Jan 2024)
• Multiple time KW Chess Champion, gained a good reputation as a player & coach as well as organizer.
• Hosted various CFC rated events, outside of Chess Club too.
• Fulfilled requirements to become a National Arbiter (License pending, because bureaucracy)

Other Than Chess

• I had won school level and Zonal level gold medals in NSO and IMO from 2014-2020.
• I had been a regular A grader just like almost every other chess player.
• I really love math and passionate about physics too!
• I was interested in modern Pop music when I discovered it but soon lost interest after i discovered its artists. I've since been majorly listening to Rock & Roll/ Rock-Pop, essentially from 60s-70s-80s but also like classical music, mostly from the times of Chopin & Liszt.
• I am generally interested in philosophy and psychology, though I don't think that makes me wise. Currently following: Stoicism, J. Krishnamurti.
• I love doing research and gaining & sharing knowledge & perspective.
