I'm from Hong Kong and I am currently a student soon to go to University. I play chess in the past-time and it began from friendly competitions around my school between my friends. I usually play aggresively as white and sometimes black, but now I mostly aim for quiet and closed positions to build a positional advantage and then attack. I constantly try new openings as both and I think hypermodern openings are quite interesting such as Owen's Opening or the Modern Opening.
My favourite openings for White are now:
Queen's Gambit Declined: Stonewall Attack, Zuckertot Opening, Larsen's Opening, Queen's Gambit Declined: Main Variation
My favourite openings for Black are now: Dutch Defence - Stonewall Variation, French Defence, and Sicilian Defence
I suck at middlegame compared to my openings and my endgame.
I managed to do Legal's Mate in one game, after 45 games I played :)
